Update 28/11/2018: Candidates who were provisionally allowed (who had filled exception form at examination centre regarding Biometric & Aadhaar Authentication) to appear in the recently held Computer Based Test (CBT) for recruitment of Constables in Chandigarh Police are being separately intimated to appear before the Screening Committee of Chandigarh Police for verification of their candidatures on 27th, 28th & 29th November, 2018 (as per schedule) in the office of DSP/Training, Police Lines, Sector 26, Chandigarh.

Important Notice: for Candidates (who were provisionally allowed who had filled exception form at examination centre regarding Biometric & Aadhaar Authentication)to appear in the recently held Computer Based Test (CBT) of the recruitment of 520 posts of Constable

Important Note:

1. Such candidates are advised to bring an original photo ID card, preferably Aadhaar card.
2. Candidatures of those candidates who fail to appear before the Screening Committee on the scheduled date and time with original photo ID card shall be liable for rejection.

Chandigarh Police Result 2018-19 – Constable Written Exam Result

Selection Process:

1. Physical Test (PET & PMT)
2. Written Test

The Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test (PE&MT) for the Male candidates for 520 Constable Posts which is advertised in 2015 were successfully conducted from 17th April to 22nd June 2017. The PE&MT test for Female candidates was conducted from 03rd July 2017 as per the schedule of the official Recruitment Notification.

About Chandigarh Police Exam:

The Chandigarh Police Written Exam was CBT (Computer Based Test). The exam was successfully on 15th, 16th & 17th November 2018 at various examination centers for the Physical Exam qualified candidates. Thousands of candidates have appeared in the examination centers at Chandigarh, Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi. The time duration of the exam was 105 minutes. Total 100 questions were asked in English, Hindi and Punjabi languages only. There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
