Karnataka KARTET Answer Key 2018-19

The Govt. of Karnataka has entrusted the responsibility of conducting the Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) to the Centralised Admission Cell (CAC), Office of the Commissioner of public instruction, Bangalore. The KARTET 2018-19 was conducted on 03/02/2019. The Karnataka TET has two papers, Paper -I will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper- II will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.

About KARTET Exam: The Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) was successfully conducted on 03rd February 2019 in two shifts. Paper 1 from 09:30 to 12:00 Noon and Paper II was from 02:00 to 04:30 PM. The time duration for each paper was 02:30 Hours. There was no any type of negative marking in the KARTET Exam 2018-19. The Exam has 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer was correct. The medium of question paper other than the languages shall be in English, Kannada, Urdu, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi.

1. The candidates appearing in KARTET will be issued a Marks Statement. The Candidates securing 60% and above marks will be issued an Eligibility Certificate.
2. The candidates belonging to SC / ST / C-I, differently abled persons should secure a minimum of 55% to be eligible, in accordance with their extent in the reservation policy.
3. Qualifying the KARTET would not confer a right for recruitment/employment to any person as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
